Cristela Alonzo is a American stand-up comedian as well as a producer, writer and actress. Her most well-known work is the TV series Cristela which started airing in the year 2014. As a result she was the first Latina in history to produce writing, directing and starring in her own show on television. She was born in Texas then moved from Texas to Los Angeles later to further her professional career. She's been in guest roles in TV programs like Sons of Anarchy' and General Hospital.
