Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is an American actress and singer. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. Her parents are born in Polish origin (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen's talent for entertainment was found at a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell aged 13 when her mom signed to become an agent was cast on advertisements for newspapers and television. At this time she began taking private acting lessons. Bell had an uncredited role in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz production at the high school she attended earned her the starring Dorothy part. Bell went to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course upon graduation. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). However, her part was cut and the credits are all that depict her. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell made an appearance in her first Broadway version of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
