Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country pop music and songwriting rose to prominence on television after she was cast as Alex in the third and final seasons on One Tree Hill. In the series' episodes the singer-songwriter performed her country debut albums. Her album of the same name was ranked among the top 20 albums of the Billboard 200's top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015 also made it to in the Top Ten. Her decade ended by appearing on Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside several singles from her non-album album. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to country music, and later went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. She began her acting career as young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. NBC Friday Night Lights, second season 2007-2008. After several guest roles on All My Children (including CSI: NY), she was offered a regular role on Noelle Davenport. Kramer was in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. There, she played Alex Dupre. The show lasted show until 2012, when the series was cancelled. Jana Kramer Kramer was a part of the cast of One Tree Hill from 2009 through the year 2012. She was a signer of an agreement in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country tune I Won't give Up on an One Tree Hill 2011 episode. It was later featured in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. It reached number five in the Billboard Top Country Albums. She continued to act in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. Kramer's second album Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to be even more successful which saw it reach the top three spot at the top of the Billboard 200. Following a two-month run during the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season the singer was ranked 4th. Also, it was the year that she scored an adult-contemporary smash, with the song Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
