Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She received an B.A. with a major in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue is an American actor, producer and director who works in television and film. She began her acting career as a theater actress and then appeared in several shows on television as well as independent and mainstream films. She became famous as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. The BET's epic show The Book of Negroes she appeared. She did not only get praise from critics for her character, she also received a few awards and nominations. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on the stage on stage in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include The Broadway production that Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to film, she is most well-known for her role in movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her role on television in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her high praise.
